I have a degree in Medicine and Surgery, a specialist in Endocrinology and Replacement Diseases since 2010 and a PhD in Endocrinology and Replacement Diseases. I was a type A University Researcher in Technical Dietetic Sciences at the University of Messina until 2018. From 2015 to 2019 I was State Endocrinologist-Nutritionist of the S.i.c.o.b. center of excellence (Italian Society for Surgery of Obesity and Metabolic Diseases) of Messina.
Areas of interest: general endocrinology, diabetology, thyroid oncology, diagnostic and interventional thyroid ultrasound, medical and nutritional treatment of obesity.
From 2015 to 2018 I was a teacher of Technical Dietetic Sciences at the University of Messina in the Medicine and Surgery, Obstetrics and Pediatric Nursing degree courses. Since 2019 he has been working as an Endocrinologist-Diabetology at the ASST Lariana. Training and work experience in Spain at the endocrinology unit of the Hospital Vall d'Hebron in Barcelona (ES), from 2005 to 2018.
Author of 44 scientific publications (21 in international journals with IF, 11 in national journals with IF, 12 in international and national conference proceedings in ISSN journals).
Speaker at 25 national and international conferences.
